One 16 × 16 grid a day, twelve words from a single theme, no timer. The date picks the puzzle, so everyone opening this page on the same day gets the same grid — and you can send someone yesterday's by copying the link.
The grid is generated from the date itself, not stored anywhere. That means the page has no database, no server round-trip and nothing to break: pick a date, the browser lays out the same words in the same positions as it would on any other machine.
Each day draws twelve words from one of eight themes — animals, school, food, colours, weather, sports, home or nature. All 192 words come from the free lists on the word list pages. If you want a specific word list instead, the generator takes pasted words and prints on A4 or Letter.
No. Click the first letter of a word, then its last letter. The word turns green when it matches; mistakes just clear the selection.
Yes — the grid sits on a normal page, so your browser's print command will print it as you see it. For a proper worksheet with an answer key, use the generator instead.
Each month keeps its own list under /play/2026-10/, and every day stays reachable by date: /play/daily/?d=2026-10-01. Nothing is deleted.
